How it works
Brief. Share. Listen.
Sondering removes the operational work between having a research question and hearing people answer it. No account setup, survey builder, or calendar coordination is required.
Make an interview- Shape the interview through a short planning conversation
- Share one public link while keeping a separate private link
- Watch progress and return to the original transcripts
§ 01
1. Brief the research assistant
Start by describing what you want to understand. Sondering asks about the objective, audience, tone, interview length, and the identity or context respondents should see.
As you answer, a scratchpad turns the conversation into a proposed plan. Ask for a warmer tone, a sharper follow-up, or fewer questions until the plan feels useful.
§ 02
2. Confirm the plan and share the link
Review the title, objective, audience, format, and question set before you launch. Once confirmed, Sondering creates two hard-to-guess links: one public link for respondents and one private check-in link for you.
Send invitations in the channel that already reaches your participants. They can open the interview on their own device and respond when they have the attention to do it.
- Public respondent link
- Private researcher dashboard
- Optional email invitations
- Configurable study expiry
§ 03
3. Follow what people are telling you
The dashboard shows starts, interviews in progress, completions, source groups, and the conversations themselves. Generate a working summary and themes when you need orientation.
The transcript is the evidence. Use themes to find where to read, compare how respondents frame the same issue, and keep contradictory or surprising responses visible.
Turn the question into a conversation.
Brief Sondering, refine the interview plan, and get a link to share in about two minutes.
