§ 01
Two links with two different purposes
Each finalized study receives a public respondent link and a separate private check-in link. The public link starts an interview. The private link opens the dashboard, transcripts, summaries, and study controls.
The links are deliberately difficult to guess, but the private link should still be treated as a secret. Store it somewhere controlled, do not paste it into shared channels, and close the study if the link may have been exposed.

Keep only what the study needs
Sondering supports automatic expiry after a selected period and lets the researcher close a study manually. The privacy policy explains what is stored, which service providers process data, and how to request deletion.
Avoid collecting unnecessary identifying or sensitive information. Tell participants who is conducting the research, why their responses are being collected, and how the results will be used.
- Choose a 7, 30, or 90 day expiry—or set one deliberately
- Close a study when collection is complete

§ 03
Research responsibility stays with the researcher
Sondering provides the interview workflow; it does not decide whether a study is lawful, ethical, or appropriate for a participant group. The researcher remains responsible for consent, purpose limitation, participant safety, and the decisions made from the findings.
Do not use the service for emergencies, clinical or legal decisions, covert profiling, or decisions that significantly affect a person without an appropriate human process. Read the full privacy policy and terms before beginning a study with real participants.
