For small businesses
Ask your customers why. Get real answers.
Star ratings and “how did we do?” forms don't tell you what to fix. Sondering chats with your customers for a few minutes, asks “why?” when an answer is vague, and tells you what they said in plain words.
Make an interview- Works for shops, cafés, salons, studios, consultants and online stores
- Customers answer on their phone, whenever it suits them
- No survey tool to learn: describe what you want to know and share a link
§ 01
Questions a form can't ask
A form asks “How satisfied were you?” and gets a 4. A conversation asks what made it a 4 and not a 5, and finds out the delivery was late, the price was unclear, or the staff were great but the website was confusing.
Sondering suggests the questions for you. Change what you want and keep it short.
- Why first-time customers don't come back
- What people think of a new product or price
- Feedback after a class, event or appointment
- Why someone left items in their basket
§ 02
Share it where your customers already are
Put the link in a receipt email, a newsletter, a social media post or a message to regular customers. People answer in a chat on their phone in a few minutes, without signing up.
You can also send invitations by email straight from Sondering if you have a list of customers who have agreed to hear from you.
§ 03
Know what to change on Monday
Your private page shows how many have answered, a short summary of what came up most, and every conversation in full. Read the summary over coffee, then dig into the answers that surprise you.
It's free for early users and you don't need an account. Keep the questions about your business, not about people's health or private lives.
Ask your customers this week.
Set it up in a couple of minutes and send the link to your next ten customers.
